Bellaire School Electrical Retrofit & LED Lighting Upgrades | BTE Electric

Bellaire School is undergoing electrical upgrades designed to improve lighting efficiency, functionality, and building performance. Bierlein-Trombley Electric is supporting the project with LED lighting upgrades, smart lighting controls, and electrical work for updated HVAC systems.

As part of the electrical retrofit, our team is replacing outdated halogen can lights with energy-efficient LED fixtures throughout the school. In one room, approximately 16 existing can lights were removed from the grid ceiling and replaced with new 2×4 LED fixtures installed around the ceiling cloud. Similar lighting upgrades are being completed across the gym and other areas of the building.

The project also includes smart lighting controls with dimming capabilities and motion detectors, giving the school greater flexibility and control over its lighting. In addition to the lighting work, our electricians are rewiring newly installed HVAC units as the school updates its heating systems.

With the interior lighting upgrades nearing completion, the remaining work includes updating switches and programming the new lighting control systems. These improvements will help create a more efficient, functional, and modern environment for students, staff, and the Bel Air Schools community.
