Labadie GMC Solar

Description: BTE was called on short notice by a solar installation company needing an experienced electrician to complete a complex project within a tight timeframe. We answered the call—working overnight to perform a 1,200 amp service changeover in coordination with Consumers Energy, and successfully tied in the solar inverters.

Our scope included:

Installing a gear package with a 1,200A disconnect, PV production meter, AC combiner panel, and E-Gauge monitor, wiring eight inverters, coordinating utility shutdowns for safe splicing and installing a tap box with Polaris blocks.

This project showcased BTE’s ability to mobilize quickly, work efficiently under pressure, and deliver high-quality electrical work on schedule.
