Noah Trombley

Co-Owner, Bierlein-Trombley Electric

Noah Trombley’s journey into the electrical field began shortly after high school in 2001, where his career path was influenced by his family’s deep-rooted connections to the trades. Growing up in a family of electricians – including his dad, two cousins, and an uncle who owned an electrical contracting company – Noah got an early start in the trade and it was clear that the electrical industry was a natural fit for him.

Noah started his career as an electrical apprentice, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field for approximately five years. His early work provided him with a strong foundation, allowing him to gain technical knowledge and skills that would serve him throughout his career.

Recognizing his abilities and leadership potential, Noah transitioned into an office role, where he expanded his expertise into estimating and project management. This experience rounded out his skill set, and in 2006, Noah earned his journeyman electrician license. His dedication to his craft led him to become a master electrician in 2009.

In 2014, Noah took a bold step by co-founding Bierlein-Trombley Electric (BTE) with business partner Adam Bierlein. Together, they built a company that would go on to become a significant player in the region’s electrical contracting industry. Since its inception, BTE has experienced continuous growth year over year, now employing over 40 individuals and logging more than 410,000 hours of work across a wide range of projects. This success speaks to the company’s reputation for excellence, and Noah’s leadership has been instrumental in driving its growth.

The entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. In 2019, Noah founded BT Tech, a technology-focused extension of BTE aimed at embracing the future of electrical work and innovative solutions. This initiative paved the way for BTE’s continued expansion, with the opening of a Traverse City branch in 2022 to better serve the northern Michigan region.

In addition to his business ventures, Noah is deeply committed to giving back to his community. He sits on several boards and committees that allow him to impact both the electrical industry and local development. As a Board of Elders member for Faith Lutheran in Bay City, Noah provides guidance and leadership to the church’s mission. His dedication to the construction industry is evident through his involvement with the Associated Builders and Contractors, where he currently serves on the Executive Board and will assume the chairman role in 2026. He is also an active member of the Business and Education Partnership (BEP) and the Rivers Edge Bay City Development Board, where he helps shape the future of the region.

Noah is also passionate about the skilled trades and education. In collaboration with the Greater Michigan Construction Academy (GMCA), he’s played a key role in the creation of an “Intro to Skilled Trades” program for John Glen High School, which helps students build a tiny house and gain hands-on experience in the trades.
Beyond his professional and community endeavors, Noah is a dedicated family man and a strong advocate for youth development. As a coach and team manager for the 2011 Saginaw Jr Spirit hockey club and a coach for Faith Lutheran basketball, Noah invests in the next generation, instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and dedication in young athletes.

In his spare time, Noah enjoys spending quality time with his family, engaging in activities such as biking, golfing, and enjoying the outdoors. He also appreciates sports, whether it’s watching his favorite teams or participating in the action himself, and enjoys weekend getaways up north.

Bierlein-Trombley Electric celebrates its 11th year in business, Noah Trombley stands as a testament to hard work, commitment, and a passion for both his profession and his community. With a focus on excellence and a strong belief in the power of education and collaboration, he looks forward to continued growth and success, both professionally and personally.
